The FREERIDE 98 is an all-terrain freeride ski that has got range. Ready to take you from corduroy to deep in the backcountry, this is one of Marcel Hirscher’s favorite picks. At 98 mm underfoot it’s sized for maximum versatility, with an impressive yet playful performance in a variety of conditions: floaty in powder, grippy on hardpacked snow, very maneuverable in the trees, and stable at speeds. Featuring a good amount of tip & tail rocker for that surfy feel on storm days, the FREERIDE 98 is built on the same construction as its bigger brother, the FREERIDE 108, including a poplar wood core, double Titanal and Carbon laminates, full ABS sidewalls, race edges, and a P-Tex race base. The FREE TOUR 88 is an incredibly lightweight, super versatile Carbon-powered ski made for alpine touring. At 88 mm underfoot it’s well-balanced between uphill ease and downhill performance. Thanks to its ultralight Paulownia wood core reinforced with Titanal and Carbon layers it weighs just over 1.000 grams, allowing you to climb efficiently. It’s still extremely smooth, grippy, and stable on the descent and floaty in powder. That’s kind of unique for an all-round touring ski of that weight, but not too surprising, considering that the FREE TOUR 88 has been developed and approved by Marcel Hirscher, who would never compromise on skiability.
