Classic, motorised or especially for children

The Enduro bike is particularly suitable for trails and fast descents. Due to the higher weight and the special construction, you retain full control of the bike even in inclined positions. The focus here is more on descents than on climbs.

The Fully bike is the most versatile bike for rent. The suspension allows you to make rapid progress both uphill and downhill. The suspension on both axles and the smooth-running tyres extend the range of use to other routes. You can easily master both uphill and downhill rides.

With the Enduro e-bike, the existing performance package of the Enduro bike is supplemented by a powerful quality motor with battery. This makes it possible to cover longer distances without overestimating yourself. Especially on climbs, the advantages of motorised support become apparent.

We also offer Kids Bikes for rent especially for children. These mountain bikes are fully functional. So nothing stands in the way of a joint family excursion over hill and dale in summer in Zermatt.

Must-have for every excursion on bike

Your head should always be protected during excursions and descents on your bike. A fall on the head can cause irreversible damage under certain circumstances. In order to protect against this risk as well as possible, we also offer bike helmets for hire.

For rapid descents over trails with sometimes very high speeds and hard, stony ground, the conventional bike helmet is often not sufficient as protective equipment. That's why at Bayard you can also rent special full-face helmets that protect the entire head area. Protectors for various sensitive parts of the body can also be rented directly in the shop when you pick up your bike. Our staff will be happy to advise you personally.

All bike helmets are checked in detail before the next rental and checked for functionality and roadworthiness. This is the only way we can ensure that your head is protected on the bike.
