Especially after the cold season and before the first excursions in spring or summer, the bike should be checked again and examined in detail. Only when all components are in top condition and adequately maintained is the required safety and stability guaranteed.
From checking the brakes, suspension and frame stability to tyre pressure and treading, your bike will be put through its paces at Bayard. So you can be well prepared for your next outing or descent.

CLASSIC BIKE SERVICE
Service and inspection of all important components
During the classic bike service, every component of the bike is closely examined and checked for functionality and road safety. This includes the following checks and activities:
Analysis of the tyre profile and the pressure in the wheels
Testing and re-sharpening of the brakes (both disc and rim brakes)
Checking the suspension travel and readjusting to the correct length
Checking the gears and chain guide (incl. oiling and lubricating)
Stress test of the frame and screw connections
Especially for e-bikes: check the battery life and motor performance.
When all these points and more have been taken care of and the service has been completed without any defects, the bike can be collected from the shop again. So you are ready to go again and safe on the road.

BIKE SERVICE WITH REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS
Detection of the problem with direct solution finding
In the course of the bike service it is not uncommon that a component needs to be repaired or a wearing part needs to be replaced. In this case, you will be informed by our staff about the parts to be replaced and the costs for the repair or replacement.
For the majority of common wear parts that wear out over time and need to be replaced regularly, we have a wide range of parts in stock. However, if it is a special component or a special bike brand, the spare part has to be ordered and delivered to the shop. Nevertheless, we carry out the repair and replacement as quickly as possible so that you can be back on the road, the trail or one of the many other bike trails in Zermatt as soon as possible.
